How Do I Know When to Hire an Attorney?

When injured due to the fault of others or at work it is often hard to know exactly what to do. An important question one might be confronted with is whether to hire an attorney and if so when. Unfortunately, their is no simple answer or rule to follow. Obtaining medical care and treatment after an injury can be complex.  Exactly who must pay is never as simple as it might seem and this complex issue can really effect how one recovers after the injury. When you consider that the injured might be out of work or might not have transportation a lot is at stake.

For most people they will only have to deal with something like this a few times over a lifetime. On the other hand, adjusters or claim managers deal with these situations all day, every day. In addition, those claim managers or adjusters are not working toward the injured party’s best interest but for the companies and the share or stock holders.

For that reason, it is always a good idea to speak with an experienced attorney as soon as possible.  Leave it to the attorney to decide whether you need assistance. After 35 years of handling the claims for those injured due to the fault of others, such as in an auto accident, or those injured on the job, I know just how important this question can be.

At Anderson & Lopez we are available to speak with people who have been injured and never charge for talking about a claim.  If you or someone you know are injured in an accident caused by the negligence of others or on the job call us and rest assured you will get the answer to this question.
